Electronex 2025
In the spirit of Make Stuff Here, Australia’s Electronics Manufacturing Tradeshow, Electronex, is one again from 7 – 8 May 2025. It is running alongside Australian Manufacturing Week which is also in the spirit of Make Stuff Here.
Attendance is free for both trade shows but you should register in advance. You can do that online for both Australian Manufacturing Trade Shows.

We are exhibiting at Electronex and I will be giving 2 seminars which are also free to attend:

Manufacturing is critical to Australia’s future
So why is it that manufacturing is critical to Australia’s future? There are several good reasons. Manufacturing:
- Creates fundamental value
- Creates a lot of jobs in the manufacturers
- Even more jobs in the industries around the manufacturers
- Spreads wealth through a community more evenly than any other industry because it creates those jobs at every level
Manufacturing is a great industry for all those reasons and because products Made In Australia are well made products. Brand Australia is highly valued overseas.
Did you know that there are currently 1M direct full time jobs in Australian Manufacturing?
Well there are. And with the indirect jobs around those direct jobs, Australian Manufacturing is the most critical employment generating sector in the current Australian Economy. Just checked on Seek and they showed 14,059 vacancies in Australian Manufacturing jobs across Australia today.
According to S&P Global Manufacturing PMI Australia has just had the strongest 3 months of economic growth of the past 2 years and they were consecutive months with the trend increasing. Numbers above 50 represent growth.

I’m pretty happy with that and am looking forward to the upward trend continuing.
